Gong Tek-tile

This project reimagines traditional gong tek ceremonial paper—silver and gold joss paper—into a woven textile designed exclusively for the brand One More Thing. With over 40 years of weaving expertise, the team has translated the symbolic patterns of ritual paper into an entirely new fabric, enriched with the smoky atmosphere and spiritual essence of ancestral offerings.

Born from the idea of finding a way to honor tradition without burning paper, the solution is simple yet meaningful: turn it into a lasting product. The result is an exquisitely woven fabric with intricate details in every inch, crafted from recycled polyester fibers, offering sustainability and reducing environmental impact.
