Two-Color River

I took the natural phenomenon of the Two-Color River in Ubon Ratchathani Province to design the
‘Two-Color River’ collection. It consists of brooches, rings, and earrings. I designed the pieces to
be as simple and minimal as possible, so it is unique but easy to wear. The colors are based off of
the materials used, being silver plated brass. The technique used was straightening wires by hand.
For example, the ring uses a simple twisting technique, and I put in gradient technique of plating
to make both sides different colors, like the river of two colors.
I want people to look at jewelry from a different angle. I don’t want them to underestimate jewelry based off of the materials used.
We should value ideas more than materials, because ideas do have more value than material worth.
