Ramyon, a.k.a. Korean instant noodles Culture is constructed by human, and many a time, people can resort to culture for evaluating narratives within human societies in order to reflect both the development and life determination of societies from the stream of changes in the world. Accordingly, many countries around the world must adapt themselves to become more open to the influences of different cultures that directly or indirectly permeate the societies’ surroundings such as advertisements, clothing, music, movies, plays, and even culinary arts from other cultures. Recently, K-pop has been one of the cultures that impact every corner of the world and Thailand is also influenced by the popularity of K-pop which seeps through all social classes. For the Thais, foods, especially instant noodles, are adopted as a tool to assess the standard of Thai economy. Therefore, Korean instant noodles have established a marketplace in Thailand in the past few years through the recognition of Korean dramas.
